The annual festival of national diasporas "Brotherhood of nations is the strength of Russia" has started in Gelendzhik
"Today on the territory of Greater Gelendzhik there are representatives of more than 80 nationalities. Numerous festivals, events and activities, including the festival and "Brotherhood of nations is the strength of Russia" have been organised to strengthen ties between nations and prevent ethnic hatred, preserve the traditions and culture of each nation, the portal YUGA cites the message of the press service of the resort's administration.
An exhibition of household items, tastings of national dishes, as well as performances of creative groups are planned in the program of events. "For those who came to the festival there await presentations of the Slavic, Greek, Armenian, Ukrainian, Ossetian and other national cultures," the press service emphasised.
