At the Kerch ferry crossing a storm warning has been declared. As reported today in the press service of the United Transport Directorate, it is forecast from 31 January to 2 February.
In the waters of the Strait, southerly and south-easterly winds of 25-30 m/s are forecast, which could lead to a stop to movement of ferries. In addition, reconstruction of the quay at Port Krym will depend on the weather.
"Because of potential accidents associated with strong winds, ferry services will operate depending on the weather conditions. We strongly recommend to motorists in this period not to travel to Crimea or back, to wait out the bad weather on the mainland or the peninsula," the portal YUGA quotes the message of the press service.
