Snowfall, strong winds and storms were the reasons for the cancellation of all flights scheduled for today to and from Istanbul.
However no information has been provided about the period of their postponement so far, Trend reports.
Heavy storms across Turkey, which have been continuing for a second day, have caused the deaths of five people in the Balikesir, Canakkale and Bursa provinces of Turkey.
In Bursa, three people were killed and 110 others injured, over 300 rooftops and 100 cars were damaged. Numerous electricity pylons, trees and roofs collapsed in the provinces of Istanbul, Bursa and Yalova.
