An earthquake measuring 4.1 occurred in Van province, south-eastern Turkey.

 

The earthquake occurred at 02:48 local time on February 4, Kandilli Observatory, Bogazici University and the Earthquake Research Institute said.

 

Despite the fact that, according to the preliminary data, there are no victims or damages, the quake caused panic among the local population.
