There is a terrorist group which has recently declared its existence across Iran's Eastern borders and calls itself Islamic State.
The Iranian security forces are studying and evaluating the potential threat, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Hossein Zolfaqari said yesteray.
"A group under the name of Islamic State has declared its existence across our borders in the East, and we are now studying this group to see if it is considered to be an IS group or not," Tass cited him as saying.
