The International Publishers Association has put Georgia on the list of the top 5 book publishers per capita. The top five go as follows: UK, Taiwan, Slovenia, Spain and Georgia, Epress reports.
The UK published a total of 2870 million copies of 184,000 books. Britain remains the main publisher of Harry Potter books and Jamie Oliver’s cookbooks.
Georgia published 1547 books. The U.S. and China were ranked 12th and 25th. Taiwan and Slovenia published 1831 books per million people, Spain 1626.
