5 retaining walls in different districts of Sevastopol collapsed last week, according to Miroslav Sagaydak, the head of the civil protection office of the Sevastopol government, TASS reports.The walls were built on clay that has almost been washed away. Sevastopol has 400 retaining walls along roads and streets, in yards and on territories of organizations. 70% of the walls are not assigned to any organization for upkeep.The city authorities ordered formation of a registry of the walls within 10 days.
