A car exploded at the building of Kazakhstan’s defense ministry, the ministry’s press service reported.
“An explosion occurred today in Astana in a Chevrolet car, in which there was a serviceman of a military unit of Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry, Arman Syzdykov, born 1975. He died on the spot from his injuries, but none of the bystanders were hurt,” RIA Novosti cited the ministry.
An investigation group was set up to investigate the incident. A criminal case was launched into the incident, and the necessary investigative measures are underway. Also a suicide note was found at the scene, so terrorism is ruled out.
