Moscow lawmaker Yevgeny Gerasimov's idea of building a monument to the heroine of the song "Katyusha" in the Strogino district of Moscow was approved by the Moscow parliamentary commission for monumental art on Tuesday.
The monument will be built at the Moskvoretsky Park between Isakovsky Street and Doroga Zhizni Alley.
A tender will be held for the project.
