German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that Germany will finance restoration of the library of the RAS Institute for Science Information on Social Science in the south-western part of Moscow.
A fire on January 30 destroyed 2,000 square meters of the building, resulting in the collapse of about 1,000 square meters of the roof. It took over a day to put the fire out. Many books were destroyed.
