The head of the Tourism Office of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture & Tourism, Aydin Ismiyev, has received the Adviser to the Tourism Minister of Egypt, Sameh Saad. The main topic of discussion was the organization of direct flights between Baku and Sharm el-Sheikh.
"Egypt is interested in receiving a larger number of Azerbaijani tourists, and therefore the issue of direct flights should be regulated. This matter is a priority for both countries. By the way, the holding of the European Games in Baku this summer is also of interest to Egyptian tourists," abc.az cited Saad as saying.
He said that the organization of direct flights would also help the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and the Sinai Peninsula, adding that he will hold talks with the relevant Azerbaijani authorities on organizing direct air communication.
