CSKA Station to be built at Moscow Metro

 

The Moscow Metro station constructed on the Third Interchange Contour of the Metro was renamed from Khodynskoye Pole to CSKA, according to a decision of the Moscow commission for renaming. The administration of the Khoroshevsky District confirmed the new name. The council of deputies took place on February 10, Championat.com reports.The new station is expected to open in 2016. The first part of the Third Interchange Contour will include the section from Delovoy Center to Petrovsky Park (interchange to Dinamo) or to Nizhnyaya Maslovka (interchange to Sevalovskaya).The initiative to rename the station belongs to CSKA officials and residents of the district it will be located in due to numerous facilities associated with the football club PFC CSKA Moscow.
