In 2014 the Dagestani federal migration service (FMS) has revealed about 6000 violations of immigration law.
More than 1500 migrants were expelled from the territory of the republic. Over the past year over 3000 preventive operations to identify violations of immigration laws were held, during which 5,951 cases of violation of the law were identified.
Migration officers have checked about 900 construction projects, more than 90 consumer services, more than 1500 objects of the residential sector, 20 industrial enterprises, 97 farms and 277 objects of trade, the report said.
The FMS noted that a ban on entry into our country to foreign nationals who have repeatedly violated immigration law is one of the most simple and effective tools in the fight against illegal immigrants.
