French police detain six Russian terrorist recruiters

 

Six Russians from Chechnya aged 32-38 have been detained in France, suspected of financing terrorism. They were detained in Alba and on the outskirts of Toulouse. One of the Russian citizens detained became a citizen of France in 2009, the others have refugee status, Le Figaro reports.According to investigators, the recruiters were helping Jihadists enter Syria.Five Russian citizens were reported detained in France on January 20. The suspects are from Chechnya and possessed explosives. The police say they were planning terrorist attacks in France.
