"Today two million Muslims in Moscow have to be content with the only four existing mosques in Moscow. The rhythm of the modern city and the small capacity of the temples do not allow true Muslims always to make the next prayer on time. We see the solution to this problem in a mobile mosque," the project's proponent, Ayrat Kasimov, is quoted by Interfax.
It will be enough, he said, just to leave a request on the corresponding website, "and the mosque itself will come to the indicated place."
The mosque will be a trailer with facilities for ablution, as well as a mini prayer hall. A fast food cafe will also be inside the trailer.
