Joint Russian-Iranian religion commission starts work in Tehran

A delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church has arrived in Tehran to participate in the 7th meeting of the joint commission of Islam - Orthodox dialogue. This year the meeting is devoted to the topic "The role of religion in private and social life", the website of the Russian Orthodox Church reports.

The orthodox delegation is led by Smolensk bishop Feofilakt.
