Heavy snowfall continues in Istanbul for the fourth straight day and it has fully paralyzed Istanbul’s transport system.
Traffic was limited to a minimum in the city, while all sea voyages were cancelled in Istanbul's waters. Turkish Airlines announced the cancellation of 800 domestic and international flights in the morning. Lessons were cancelled at schools in Istanbul and Ankara as well, Trend reports.
According to Turkish media, at present snow cover in different parts of Istanbul is 40-60 centimeters.
