A ticket checker on a tram of Gorelectrotransport has been heavily criticized on the Internet and among deputies for forcing a 90-year-old lady out of the tram for not showing her free-ticket card.
Pyatigorsk Mayor Lev Travnev demanded that executives settle the situation and investigate the incident, Interfax reports.
The ticket checker was reprimanded and will be penalized. The director of Gorelectrotransport apologized to the old lady personally.
