A 30-year-old police officer is to go on trial on assault charges in
the Russian republic of Karachay-Cherkessia. Zaur Nartokov is accused
of attacking a 63-year old man from Cherkessk, Yuga.ru reports, citing
the press-service of the Russian prosecution in the republic.
According to the investigation, the policeman was at his brother's
house in April this year when a row broke out with his elderly
neighbor, resulting in a fight.
