American mixed martial arts fighter Jeff Monson has donated his fee for the fight with Vladimir Nepochatov, which took place in the tournament «Oplot 108», to Donbas.
"I didn't fight for the money. This is not the main purpose of my fight. All royalties from the fight I donate to the people in the Donbas" Monson was quoted by TASS.
Monson is a popular athlete in Russia, where he entered the ring against the brothers Alexander and Fedor Emelianenko, and also participated in several major tournaments. On the body of the American athlete, under tge nickname "Snowman", there is a tattoo with the symbols of Russia, as well as the words "freedom" and "solidarity".
