As a result of an accident involving a taxi on the central highway in Georgia, two children and their mother died, and about five people received various injuries.
According to Rustavi-2 TV, "at Agar-Gomi, a taxi travelling from Tbilisi to Akhaltsikhe drove sharply off the road, crashed into a pole and overturned."
According to other media reports, the other passengers who were in the vehicle - about five people - received various injuries and were taken to the nearest hospital.
Traffic patrol police are at the scene to establish the causes of the accident.
