The editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Cumhuriyet, Can Dündar, was summoned to court in Istanbul on suspicion of insulting the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Earlier, Can Dündar conducted an interview with Celal Kara, an ex-prosecutor who was in charge of a massive corruption investigation in December 2013 that targeted several government figures.
Dündar is expected to testify as a suspect at the Istanbul courthouse in the coming days, Hurriyet writes.
