Two people died as result of the attack. According to RIA Novosti, the citizenship and diplomatic mission of the victims were not disclosed. The explosion was so strong that it was felt throughout the diplomatic quarter, with the British Embassy issuing a message about increased security measures in connection with the attack. The Embassies of Iran and Turkey are located nearby in Kabul.
