Chief of the Russian presidential staff Sergey Ivanov has called on the Investigative Committee of tge Russian Federation to counter possible attempts to stir up inter-ethnic conflicts in Crimea.
"Your direct task is to oppose any such attempts. Such crimes should be investigated promptly and thoroughly," TASS cited him.
According to Ivanov, the investigation of terrorist and extremist crimes is a top priority of the committee's work. Ivanov warned the committee of the complicated criminal situation in the North Caucasus and highlighted the importance of its cooperation with other law enforcement bodies and special services.
