WWII machines to be demonstrated at 70th anniversary of Great Victory in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan plans to double the number of soldiers and military vehicles at the military parade for the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Both modern and WWII vehicles will be seen at the parade, TASS reports.


About 2,600 soldiers, 213 vehicles and 73 aircraft took part in the parade of the Day of the Defender of the Fatherland on May 7, 2014. Kazakhstan held such parades in 2005, 2009, 2011 and 2014.


The first military parade in the history of Kazakhstan was held at a training range in the Jambyl Province on May 7, 2013. All weapons available were used to hit targets then.
