Armavir has opened a computer class with interactive lessons at Armavir’s school N5 of Zoravar Andranik, News Armenia reports, citing Russian Cooperation office in Armenia.
The class has 10 computers, interactive boards and other modern equipment, provided by South Caucasian Railways company, international company GOLD, GNC-ALFA, Russian Cooperation office in Armenia, supported by the Russian embassy in Armenia.The head of Russian Cooperation in Armenia Victor Krivopuskov congratulated 1200 pupils of the school. He noted that it is the third school equipped with hi-tech equipment (besides Pushkin and Fioletov schools in Yerevan).
The head of GNC-ALFA Ayk Faramasyn said that they plan to equip 240 schools at first. Then they will connect all schools with a common network, establishing single information field for modernization of the education process.
The executive director of the Russian language methodology center department of Russian Cooperation in Armenia Gurgen Barikyan described the opportunities the latest technologies provide. He said that the school will have a master-class on October 12.
Armavir region Governor Ashot Kagramanyan was also at the opening.
