One sixth of Russians expect salary cuts

 

According to social polls of Levada Center, about 15% of Russians do not rule out late salary payments in the next months, 5% in the next weeks, 9% have already experienced them. 16% fear salary cuts in the next months, 6% in the next weeks, 10% have already suffered from lowering of salaries, Interfax reports.45% do not expect delays in salary payments, 40% do not expect their reduction, 39% do not anticipate job loss. 19% have admitted that they and their cohabitants were unemployed.19% predict redundancies at work, unless something changes, 7% are already seeing redundancies at work, 6% await them in the next few weeks.Levada Center questioned 1,600 people in 134 residential areas in 46 Russian regions on February 20-23.
