Turkey and the United States have agreed to use the Incirlik air base for the deployment of US combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to support coalition operations against the group "Islamic State". This was reported today the newspaper Haberturk.
According to the publication, in the next three weeks two 'Reaper' UAVs (combat drone modification if the 'Predator') will be delivered to Incirlik.
According to Haberturk, in the last three and a half years four 'Predator' UAVs were deployed on this basis, which were used for US intelligence-gathering on the activities of IS in Iraq and Syria. The Turkish General Staff has not officially commented on the information on the arrangements for the placement of the 'Reapers', says TASS.
