The counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime introduced yesterday in the Leninsky district of Makhachkala has been cancelled.
"By the decision of the Operational Headquarters, the CTO regime was cancelled at 13:00 MSK," TASS quoted a representative of the Operational Headquarters of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee in Dagestan.
A criminal case was initiated into the results of the special operation. "The case was initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code: assault on law enforcement officers and illicit trafficking of arms and ammunition," a spokesman of the republic's branch of the Russian Investigative Committee said.
During the raid seven militants were killed: four men and three women. Two machine guns were found at the scene.
