By the end of 2014, Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Dagestan became the leaders among all the constituent parts of the North Caucasus in identified corruption cases in the field of education.
"In 2014 alone on the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District 280 violations of the law in the field of education were recorded, followed by criminal charges. And the most substantial proportion of them occurred in Stavropol and Dagestan, and only in Karachay-Cherkessia in the last year have there been no such cases," RIA Novosti quoted a message of the North Caucasus Federal District embassy.
