We have sent an inquiry to the Russian side and to our consulate general in Novosibirsk," Itar Tass quotes him as saying, commenting on Ukrainian media reports about the death of Yanukovich Jr. in an accident on Siberia’s Lake Baikal last Friday. "We are waiting for a reply, for official information."Earlier Russia’s emergencies ministry said that there is no one with a surname of Yanukovich among those killed and injured."
