Hijab scandal in Ingushetia results in dismissal and reprimand

 

After an inspection conducted by Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Deputy Director of the A.I. Tutayeva Medical College in Nazran, Lyubov Aziyeva, has lost her job and Head of the College, Zoya Oziyeva, was reprimanded, as stated by Acting Secretary of the Ingush Security Council, Albert Barakhayev, Gazeta.ru reports.Yevkurov received a complaint about prohibitions of wearing hijabs at the College in 2015. The inspection revealed that the education center had no regulations on clothing and ethics. The authorities of the College were issued an order to create such regulations and have each student sign them.
