Members of the administration of the Maikopsky District, WWII veterans and officials of the Children of War organization have taken part in the founding of a new park in Kabardino-Balkaria for the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Interfax-South reports.
About 90 trees and 17 kinds of bushes were planted. The foundation of the park was initiated by Alexander Kislitsyn, the chief administrator of the district. The park consists of three tree zones: coniferous, broad-leaved and mixed. The trees were provided by Gorzelenkhoz, Maikop foresters and businessmen free of charge.
