2,180 people gave up their Armenian citizenship in 2014, compared with 550 people in 2013. The statistics do not name the reasons for the tendency. It is likely that more citizens want naturalization in Russia using the Rossotrudnichestvo program. The latter helped 6,000 people move from Arrmenia, Lragir.am reports.
