Khattab ex-militant in France wants to surrender to Ingush authorities

 

Dzurab Osmiyev, an ex-militant of Khattab living in France, has called the “Dialogue with People” TV show attended by Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. He said on the show that he could only expect a refugee status. The ex-militant said he had not killed or injured anyone while being a member of Khattab’s forces.Yevkurov said that Osmiyev could return to Ingushetia. The adaptation commission will study whether he was involved in any crimes. If not, he will be allowed to find a job and a house in the republic.
