Kremlin again switches off the lights at 'Earth Hour'

Today in Moscow in the framework of the international environmental action 'Earth Hour' from 20:30 to 21:30 MSK the Kremlin will switch off its lights. This decision was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earth Hour is conducted by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) every year. During this time people on the planet voluntarily switch off the lights in their homes. The external lighting of buildings that are symbols of the state is also turned off. The purpose of the action is to draw people's attention to environmental issues.
