Turkish security forces have arrested 12 foreign nationals illegally attempting to cross into Syria, the Gaziantep Governorate said in a statement.
7 Russian citizens, 2 residents of Kosovo, one citizen of Tajikistan, Switzerland and Syria were seized. The statement said that all these people planed to join the Islamic State terrorist organization. "They are being transferred to the Security Department of the Foreign Office to settle formalities in accordance with the law on foreigners and international protection and further extradition," TASS cited the statement.
