The visitors of the Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts in Tbilisi can see a free exhibition - "Ethnic and Religious Variety of Turkey". The organizers of the exhibition are the representatives of the National Museum of the country.
The exhibition includes 115 paintings by artists of the XIX-XXI centuries, such as M.Tilke, K.Zdanevich, S.Paradzhanov, R. Sommer, Melikov, L.Bayahchev, Sh.Koboshvili, D.Gvelesiani, G.Hachaturyan, B.Romanovski, Ts.Shuhaev, V.Babutova-Gabunia and others.
The organizers informed that owners of private collections gave some works.
"Visitors pay particular attention to the paintings of old Tbilisi. The color of the late 19th century, its unhurried rhythm and gradual transformation are interesting things for the public nowadays. Especially at a time when many people have forgotten about the historical multiethnic groups of our country," News-Georgia cites the organizers.
The exposition can be seen until the 28th of April.
