5 companies bid for production Azerspace-2

Azerbaijan continues preparations for the launch of Azerspace-2, the second national telecommunication satellite.

"Five companies have already submitted bids for the tender on production and launch of the second satellite," the head of the Board of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, Vidadi Zeynalov, said.

“The tender procedure will be held before the end of April,” Zeynalov said, noting that a lease agreement for Azerspace-2 resources has already been signed with Intelsat Company.
