"On April 26, 2015 the park of the Livadia Palace in Yalta will host the main Russian holiday of charity and mercy 'White Flower'. The funds collected will be used to help families with seriously ill children with disabilities. The festival will be held with the support of the administration of the city of Yalta", RIA Novosti cites the message of the press service of the Foundation of St. Basil the Great, one of the organizers of the rally.
This year's festival will celebrate the 10th anniversary since its revival in Livadia. Traditionally, it is held on the second Sunday after Easter – the Day of the Holy Myrrh-bearers. The program of celebrations includes a prayer service at the Holy Cross church in Yalta, which will be headed by the ruling bishop, Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea, a concert featuring youth teams, a performance of the Symphony Orchestra and Crimean State Philharmonic Chamber Choir 'Tavrichesky Blagovest', as well as tours of the Livadia Palace-Museum and activities for children in the City of Master Craftsmen. A charity fair will be held.
