Servicemen of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), who will take part in the parade in honor of the Victory Day on May 9, have arrived in Moscow. The ceremonial devision is comprised of 110 soldiers of a guard of honor, the agency Xinhua reports.
They arrived at the military airfield of Chkalovsky near Moscow yesterday, and then went to the Military health center in Marfino to rest and pack before rehearsals.
"Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui said earlier that it is the first time that China has sent a Division to Russia to participate in the parade on Red Square, it fully embodies the rich content of the strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the high level and the character of their relations," RIA Novosti reported, with reference to the Chinese agency.
