"Yesterday, security forces tried to detain the leader of the Khasavyurt gang, Khas-Magomed Charinov, near the village of Oktyabrskoe in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. He was killed during the operation," TASS cited a source in security forces of Dagestan.
A weapons cache discovered in the house contained machine guns, grenades and ammunition. No servicemen were injured in the clashes.
