Baku to show war film after 73 years
The war film 'One Family' will be shown in Baku 73 years after it was shot, the Russian Information and Cultural Center (RICC) said.“The documentary film 'One Family' [director Grigory Alexandrov] was shot at the Azerbaijanfilm studio in 1941-1942, starring Lyubov Orlova, Mikhail Zharikov, Khosrov Melikov, Alekper Melikov, Kazim Ziya and others,”abc.az reports.“Soon after the first showing of the film telling about the relations between Najar, an Azerbaijani tank soldier, and a Russian girl from Baku was deemed to be insufficiently patriotic and prohibited from distribution.
