Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has expressed condolences to relatives and friends of Batyrkhan Shukenov, the main soloist of the A-Studio Band. The president said in his letter that Shukenov’s giftedness, mastery and personal qualities made him an idol for millions of viewers, TASS reports.
Shukenov died of a heart attack in Moscow on the night of April 28-29 at the age of 53. The singer will be buried in Almaty, in his homeland. The last respects to the singer will be paid at the Zhambyl State Philharmonic of Kazakhstan at 10.00am on May 1.
