The Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry held a solemn ceremony of presentation of the certificate and mantle of Honorary Doctor of the Diplomatic Academy to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov noted that His Holiness is already an honorary doctor of a number of prestigious universities and higher education institutions. "We feel especially pleased that our diplomatic academy has joined their ranks," he said.
