A mass brawl between participants of a May Day rally started in Istanbul, requiring the police to disperse the participants in the fight.
The cause of the fight has not been established, the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber reports. The number of detainees during the May Day rally in Istanbul has now reached 10 people, four protesters were detained because they were hiding their faces behind masks.
It was previously announced that Istanbul’s metro would not operate today and all sea voyages have been cancelled.
