The international airport in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu is closed to the arrival and departure of large airliners in connection with a serious deformation of the runway during the earthquake, AP agency reports, citing local authorities.
At the same time, as noted by the authorities, Kathmandu can still take airplanes of medium and small sizes, Interfax reports.
