Families of victims in the flood in Krasnodar Territory will receive compensation of 1 million rubles each. The Russian Ministry of Regional Development told Yuga.ru that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev discussed the issue with the Minister of Regional Development Victor Basargin.
The press-service of Governor Vladimir Prigod said that any compensation will be issued at social protection offices.
The river flood in Tuapsin region started on October 16, caused by heavy rains. 17 villages were flooded. 14 people died. October 18 has been declared a day of commemoration in Tuapsin region.
