The first congress of the Association of Azerbaijanis of Kazakhstan will take place on the 29th of October in the city of Almaty, the press service of the State Committee for the Azerbaijani Diaspora announced, Trend reports.
The chairmen of regional, city and district organizations and members and leaders of the control commissions, will present their reports and will elect a new chairman of the structure.
Azerbaijanis are represented in Kazakhstan by the Union of legal entities, established jointly with the Union of Cultural Centers of Azerbaijanis in Kazakhstan, as well as structures of diasporas of 12 provinces and two cities in the country.
