Stalin's images displayed on public transport in Krasnodar

Portraits of Generalissimus Joseph Stalin were displaced on public transportation stops at the Krasnodar center. 9 out of 14 stops with banners of the 70th Anniversary of the Great Victory have Stalin's images, Interfax reports.

The posters serve to remind the post-war generations about the role of Stalin in the Great Patriotic War. The posters also depict the Patriotic War Order and the St. George Ribbon.

Activists of the 'Memorial' Society have warned against use of Stalin's portaits at the 70th Anniversary and demanded that public praise of the generalissimus be banned.
